Longwood Gardens Orchid Festival Photographs

So it's been a while since I visited Longwood Gardens.  I didn't renew my membership when it expired last spring, and I spent the year finding other places to photograph.  But I decided that it was time to renew my membership and head back.  It's one of my favorite places to visit to relax, renew, and photograph.  Their annual Orchid Festival started last weekend, so it was the perfect time to return for a visit.  Orchids are some of my favorite flowers.  I even splurged and bought a little one from their gif shop.  We'll see if I can keep it alive.  I went early in the morning right after they opened before it got busy.  It was perfect because there was hardly anyone there!!  No one to ruin my photographs!!  Hope you enjoy the photographs I took today.

I think I might buy a little greenhouse for the little orchid I bought since I keep my house so cool in the winter.  Hopefully that will keep it a little warmer.  I'll let you know how it goes.  I hope you enjoyed these photographs.  Hopefully they'll be many more to come this year since I renewed my membership.
